On September 25th, 35+ entrepreneurs joined us on Zoom for an insightful morning event! This Healthcare Entrepreneur Meetup was not one to miss: HealthIT folks joined A.T. Gimbel, Rachael Jones of Syntax, Joe Guster of DentaFlo, and Franklyn Nnakwue of Dinma as they share how they each started in the healthcare space.
These Meetups are part of an ongoing series of talks about Healthcare in Atlanta, with the objective of making Atlanta the premier place to start and grow a HealthIT business. The goal of these meetups is to facilitate connections, hear from industry professionals, and truly dig deeper into Healthcare problems that Atlanta entrepreneurs can help solve.

There is a significant market opportunity for companies providing solutions to support value-based care. The presenters discussed the potential for growth and revenue in this sector.
The healthcare industry is evolving rapidly, with a focus on patient convenience and access. Dinma's on-demand home healthcare platform reflects this trend.
Syntax is designed to streamline the value-based care contracting process. By helping providers model contracts, negotiate terms, and monitor performance, Syntax aims to make value-based care more accessible and efficient. The company is currently working with 12 clients, including digital health companies and community health centers, and is actively seeking introductions to provider organizations interested in value-based care.
Dinma is an on-demand platform that connects patients with providers for home healthcare visits. The platform allows providers to set flexible schedules and service areas, while patients can book same-day appointments through a simple web interface. Dinma is seeking employer partnerships and angel investors to expand its reach and capabilities.
DentaFlo is a productivity-focused platform for dental practices that offers analytics and patient self-scheduling features. The platform integrates with practice management software like Dentrix and allows patients to self-schedule complex treatment plans, not just initial appointments. DentaFlo is currently seeking customer introductions, pilot participants, and investor connections.
