More than 29 ambitious entrepreneurs came together on Zoom for an engaging morning event on April 17th. This Atlanta Startup Convos was a must-attend gathering, offering valuable networking opportunities and thought-provoking discussions.
Every 6-8 weeks, Atlanta Ventures hosts an Atlanta Startup Convos Meetup. Three early stage startups shared their 7 minute story of how they started, how they are monetizing, and how they are scaling their product.

We kicked off the morning with some insightful discussions between the entrepreneurs in the Zoom Breakout Room networking session. Attendees discussed their plans for when it warms up outside. It was a quick opportunity to connect with new faces and reconnect with familiar ones before we dove into the Startup Convos.
This month’s presenter lineup was one for the books:
Shelly Scott, Founder and CEO of GetSideKicks highlighted the unique challenges military spouses encounter, including a higher risk of depression, and shared how GetSideKicks aims to provide a range of care options to build a support network in new locations. The company aims to simplify military life by connecting military parents with verified military moms for childcare, addressing the challenges military families face such as frequent moves and the resulting need to reestablish support services. Shelly introduced a new prototype on the team's website designed to assist military families in finding verified care providers.
Rodrigo Dantas e Silva, Co-Founder and CEO of Gabriel Money introduced his banking app aimed at improving financial prosperity for young Latinos in the US. The app offers a secured deposit account and credit card to help users build credit history and learn financial management. In the future, the app will use AI to curate fair financial products tailored to users' needs.
Gia Wiggins, Founder and CEO of Auditocity, a Human Resources SaaS platform aimed at assisting in auditing and diagnosing employment-related regulations and processes demonstrated the tool's features and expressed her request for assistance in promoting the product.
